And just to clarify on my side, I never had ANY of the windows nick is talking about pop up to help me uninstall. No wizard, no check this box to revert to INSTALLATION baseline, no nothing. Just clicked uninstall in the rollback rx folder and the next window that popped up was click to reboot.
And guess what your great support ticket system did? After emailing back and forth, they have given me snapshot scavenger which i burned as an iso file onto a cd and booted from cd. BartPE loaded and windows xp loading screen popped up but then a blue screen popped up with an error message saying it has to close windows for protection or whatever. They then said that they can't further assist me, even though their software clearly is faulty, and they said contact HP or Dell or whoever to fix the problem. Nice job shifting the blame to someone else, unfortunately i'm not an idiot and this will not fly.
Now they said just use finaldata to TRY and find some old files, snapshots are not possible to find unless snapshot scavenger works, which it didnt. So basically, I am just ****ed. Your software lost all my new data, and because you guys make an inferior product I got really hurt through your mistake.
PROTECT YOUR CUSTOMERS, EVEN THE ONES THAT JUST WANT TO TRY YOUR SOFTWARE.
