This would be a nice feature to implement.

This request is still pending? I noticed that i am able to exit the tray icon now (not sure if this was available in the first beta)

This distinction would be fine if there was a different suffix for each. As it is, the only way to tell them apart is to try and do some operation with them. This is confusing to the end user.
I agree with nexstar. I think that a different suffix is in order and a file filter implemented so that only files relating to the area your working in are shown.

eg. 1. when working with drive or partition images, only these image types can be seen
2. When working with backup files and folders, only these image types can be seen.

This is coming along nicely and look forward to continued improvements. Perhaps some work can be done to improve the imaging and backup speeds as well. It currently takes about 15min to backup 40Gb of data (resulting in a 16Gb compressed file). This is to a 1.5TB USB 2.0 external drive so i'm not sure it this is a bottleneck or not. I will try a back up to another partition on my working drive to compare and will post results over next few days.

My first thoughts to new Beta:

1.) Task Management now works
2.) VSS works too (Windows 7 32-bit)

I will continuing testing Beta and will post the results here.

Unhappy Verify Failure

I get the following error message when verifying:-

...\drive_code\image.c(722)-load_cache_unit.COMPRESS_UNIT_END_MAGIC error, G:\DriveCloner RX\December0.ego
