Trying out drive cloner here...

My new laptop came with a couple of partitions in place. I guess for the system or hdd maintenance?

Should those be backed up along with C? If I include them, I get:

-------------------------
Preparing backup...Done

Locking drive ?:.
Volume Shadow Service is not supported for drive ?INFO_VSS_VOLUME_ERROR), start backup in archive mode.
Backup ?...Done
Unlocking drive ?:.
Locking drive C:.
Volume Shadow Service started for drive C: successfully.
Backup C...
-----------------------

in archive mode ok?

Question 2:

I'm saving the back up on another computer, through a wireless network.

In case of hard drive failure, after installing a new hd and entering the drive cloner startup cd, will the start up program be able to find the wireless network and connect up so I can get the backup?

Question3:

If a hard drive fails and I get another for installing the backup copy, do I need to get the same size hard drive? Would a larger one work?

and related... do I need to reinstall the backup on the same computer, or can it install on a new computer if needed?

Thanks,

Chris
