Saving trial baseline

I installed a trial on 'PC-A' that has expired and now asks for an activation code.
I have since purchased an education site licence that simply asks for the ProductID during installation [doesnt seem to need 'activating'].
I now want to enter the site licence details on the expired trial on PC-A, but it doesnt look like i can do that.

Questions:

• On PC-A, Is there a way to activate the expired trial without re-installing the one i dowloaded with the site licence?
• If I must reinstall, how can i save the baseline that's on there?
