Default RB Rx & Win7 Sleep function

Hi there

Does anyone know if having the Sleep function enable under Win7 adversely affects or conflicts with RB Rx's functioning?

Baldrick, I use the Sleep function all the time with Rollback and was encountering a BSOD with this latest version (v9.1 Build 2695223310). I submitted a Support Ticket for which they promptly sent me a test build (v9.1 Build 2695237646) and it corrected the issue. No problems with the test build for 2 months now.

Here is the post relating to this issue found in these forums

Latest build causes BSOD upon hiberating

Hope this helps

PS I am running W7 x64 Ultimate

Hi carfal

Thanks for the response. I am not sure which version I have downloaded from the website (as I decided to get the latest version rather than install the version of v9.1 that I had loaded under WinXP).

Do you know where I can get v9.1 Build 2695237646? Given what you have described I would prefer to install that version rather than v9.1 Build 2695223310, which seems to be the latest version that is available via the web site, and which I presume is what I have downloaded already

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Baldrick

Here is the link to the test build i am currently using. If it stays up then i presume its OK with Horizon for me to share.

Hotfile.com: One click file hosting: rollback0603.zip

Cheers!

Hi carfal

Thanks for that. Much appreciated. I may check with HDS just to make sure that they are alright with this, unless one of the Mods can advise? I presume that if testing goes well then this will be the next public build? Would be interesting to know!

Cheers

I'll flag this one for Nick. Baldrick, in the meantime, feel free to submit a ticket to support http://support.horizondatasys.com

Best,
Jacob

Hi Jacob

Thanks for that. I will refrain from using what carfal has kindly indicated, until Nick or someone else can comment officially. I would be happy to try it out given that I want to use the sleep feature of Win7 and want to avoid potential issues...which carfal suggests this build does.

I await feedback.

Regards
