I have enabled the option to keep certain directories current after reverting to an older snapshot.
However, I found that the performance of such feature extremely slow and cumbersome. After the snapshot is reloaded, it takes nearly 30 minutes to hours to "reload" the directories that I had marked and wanted to keep current (i.e., not reverting). It seems that Rollback has to individually search and replace each file in order to not roll back these files. Is this normal behavior? If so, Rollback is practically unusuable if the directory has many files in itself or is filled with many files under subdirectories. |

Greetings Awong! I had similar experiences with using that option and I was only trying to restore a few files. In fact, restoration is impossible if the file is open by an applicayion when Rollback tries to do the "restore"... it always fails.
I found the option to be, let me say... non-useful. |
