Default Conflict with Softperfect Ram Disk

I have installed Ram Disk software from High-performance RAM Disk for Windows and found a conflict when running Rollback RX v9.1.

I have reported the issue with the developer Andrew Lock and after testing he has confirmed the conflict between his software and Rollback RX, which causes a PC to crash and reboot whenever an attempt is made to access a Ram Disk.

Hopefully either Andrew or Horizondatasys can come up with a soloution.

I have experienced outstanding customer support from Andrew, while trying his Ramdisk software, (which really is a very nice piece of software) I found it conflicted with something on my system, causing sudden reboots. After giving details to Andrew he found there was a conflict between Ramdisk and Rollback RX V9.1 (hardly surprising considering how deeply Rollback integrates into a system). Within a few hours between me downloading and installing his software he had created a new build which runs perfectly alongside Rollback, and he gave me a free licence for Ramdisk as well. Amazing!.

I was more than willing to pay for the software because I have a genuine need for it. However without Andrew's fantastic support I would not have been able to use the two products side by side, and I cannot operate without Rollback RX which is a vital part of my system. So there you, are a huge pat on the back and thank you to Andrew, its great when you find someone offering this level of service, and I had not even bought the product.

@GJBTH - He may have just found himself another customer as a result . I used ram disks regularly on a non-PC system I had and I'd forgotten how useful they could be. So, thanks for the info .
