Hi Guys I have recently had a major problem with my pc. I had a power cut when my pc was on. When I loaded it back up it loads the rollback screen and says press the home key to restore but when I press this it skips straight too windows restore. I have no windows restore points so im stuck. Sounds as if your power outage may have corrupted RBRx (along with other system files). Try booting again (and again) to see if the RBRx console can be accessed so that you can rollback to a prior snapshot. If not, you might see if there's any way to run a chkdsk /f. You could try booting into Safe Mode, to see if that gets you into Windows.

You didn't provide any info as to your version of Windows, but if the above attempts fail, perhaps you could try a 'repair install' (assuming you have the Windows installation disk).

I really don't mean to rub salt in the wound, but this situation points out why it's so important to make regular disk-image backups!

Good luck...
