I have submitted the information to tech support but have heard nothing back in return, yet. I've normally found that you people are a much quicker resource.

Thanks

FWIW, here's the answer I received from Horizon Tech Support:

Hi, it is normal. Snapshot size definition = it is what's changed SINCE last snapshot. Let's take an example:

After installation of RollBack, you create a 1.doc file which is 100MB, then you create snapshot 1 which is 100MB, right?

You create another file 2.doc which is 200 MB, then you create snapshot 2 which is 200Mb, right?

Now, you delete snapshot 1. However, the 1.doc file is also included in snapshot 2, as snapshot 2 is created based on snapshot1. Although you delete snapsho1, 1.doc also exists in snapshot 2. Once the file exists, it will occupy space, but it will not occupy the space repeatedly. Now you delete snapshot 1, so the snapshot 2 will occupy the 100MB and the size of snapshot 2 will be 100MB +200MB=300MB.

That's why you always see the snapshot with such a large size. As all the size if the files included in the snapshots you deleted is passed on to the next snapshot.

Thanks.

Again, FWIW, I can accept what they said but why the initial snapshot of 1250 MB after only running about 10 minutes? Questions, questions . . .

Chuck
