Hmm, please try using the Powercfg command (per the steps below) to diagnose (and hopefully remedy) this issue:

1. Click the Start Button, type cmd, right click on the Cmd.exe in the search result list and select Run as administrator.

2. Type powercfg -devicequery wake_armed in the open window and press the Enter Key.

3. A list of each configured device to awake the computer will be received. Next, type the following command to disable them (one by one).

Powercfg -devicedisablewake "devicename"
Where "devicename" is a device name listed as a result of running the first command.

For example, if the network card "Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet" is listed, you would type the following command to disable it, followed by pressing the Enter key.

Powercfg -devicedisablewake "Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet"

4. Repeat the steps for the other devices in the list.

5. Reboot the computer and check this hibernation-restart issue again.

For more information on this approach, refer to: Powercfg Command-Line Options

Good luck!

Thank you very much PV for the detailed instructions. I'll give this a go when I get a chance.

Thanks again!
