I've been using both since the end of Dec with no known problems between the two. RBRx has had some issues but I can't see how Soluto would have caused these.

Soluto is a great idea and I will always use it.

I don't know...it just seems that any program which interferes with the booting process might cause a potential conflict with Rollback RX's subsystem.

Since RB loads first, before everything else (if I understand it correctly), there shouldn't be a direct conflict I wouldn't think--no more than any other potential software compatibility issue.

In any event, I haven't notice a problem.

I used this combo for about 2 months and never experienced a conflict (I stopped using Soluto because it (in itself) added more time to my startup than any unecessary startup items it identified).

If Rollback loads before Soluto, then I imagine there would be no conflict. But I thought a boot manager program would logically have to be the first thing to load, otherwise what's the point of it. If Rollback loads first, then Soluto can't be doing its job properly.

I don't think it is a "boot manager" as I would describe it. I believe Soluto loads with Windows and monitors the Windows boot process, not the initial hardware boot from the MBR.

Boot managers (in my terminology anyway) take over the MBR and then give you options to boot different disc partitions (and thereby a choice of OS).

I stand corrected.

If Soluto does load with Windows, then i'll give it a try.
