I have been trying to get the GUI to be DPI aware since 9/2009, obviously without any luck. Here is the 10/2009 response I received to my support ticket.

"The problem is because Rollback Rx background is pictures which are fixed size, and the text are displayed in the (fixed size) pictures. The background picture and text layout was designed based on the default scale 96 DPI. When user changes the DPI to a larger font, which pushes outside of the graphics. Unfortunately there is not a easy fix to this problem. We have to either redraw all the background pictures for the larger 120 DPI or abandon the background using pictures concept. Either solution would require major work to the GUI. We're planing to re-design the entire user interface for v10 and using a new design to avoid this problem."

I recently tried to get an update on this issue, but no joy. So I don't know if a new GUI is still in the works for version 10.

Its funny how they set the status of my support ticket (4073-8216544) to "resolved" when nothing has been fixed. I even commented that the ticket status should remain a "Work In Progress" until a new graphical user interface is developed. But somehow it still got "resolved". Oh well.

Thanks for the feedback and updating us here. We are all looking forward to improvements for future releases. Thanks to the feedback of our members, we can make this happen. I'll flag this for Nick as well and see if we can get some insight.

Thanks,
Jacob
