Do you mean from inside Windows (Computer-Properties-Tools-Error Check) or at boot time?
Within Windows, the system will see the file structure RBRx presents to it, which is your current operating environment. At boot time, if you get the system file check after unexpected shutdown, you have little choice but to allow it to complete. If you interrupt it then that snapshot will always be flagged for a system file check at next boot, until you do allow it to complete. I have not heard of anyone having a problem with this. If you use something that operates outside Windows, the file structure it sees on the disc will be that at the baseline snapshot and nothing thereafter. |

While there shouldn't be a problem running the file checker from within your current RBRx snapshot, if it finds any missing/corrupted files, which you then replace, that will likely result in a larger 'than usual' RBRx snaphot.

I was having a problem with my crash dump drivers not starting. I uninstalled RollBack and did the SFC check and all was OK. What fixed the problem was resetting my page file. After I did that the problem was fixed. Now I'll reinstall RollBack after I do a little maintenance.
