I would like to see a feature that can disable Rollback on boot so that I can do a boot defrag.I use PerfectDisk and if I want to do a Boot defrag I have to uninstall Rollback first which is a pain in the ****.I do a Boot defrag every couple of Weeks. The problem I'm having is when I reinstall Rollback after a couple of boot defrags I get the 'Too many Activations 'message and then have to submit a support ticket to get the program reactivated again.I found out the hard way when I did a boot defrag with Rollback installed it created havoc with my system.
Thank you |

how about...
an option to disable the popup u get after a missed scheduled task (if you've got "autorun at next logon" enabled). This gives the user a Yes/No option to run the missed task.I mean you have the option to "prevent user from cancelling scheduled tasks" so why give them the option to cancel a missed scheduled task - why not just run it! ![]() Cheers |

Hi,
I would definitely like to have the following options added to RB Rx: 1) Full disk encryption with pre-boot authentication (PBA) option. And of course the ability to choose the preferred encryption algorithm (AES, Serpent, TwoFish etc.). Or fully support the coexistence of PBA encryption software like TrueCrypt. This should be possible IMHO. RB Rx should load after PBA password is entered, just before the OS is beginning to load. May be a challenge though. 2) Possibility to create a bootable recovery disk (backup) of the MBR, before RB Rx is installed. At least I would see some more (support for) data protection capabilities. Data theft is a huge issue these days. Cheers |

How about a way to allow deletion of files without putting them into the Rollback recovery area. There are some file you know you will never want to recover, or you want to recover space without resetting the baseline.
Specifically, my wife was attempting to delete Sims3 (a really big program) from her Rollback 9.1 system, after taking a backup, to recover space. After deleting 30G of files, she only picked up 3G of new free space. Emptied the trash can, no help . Why, because the other 27G had been put into the hidden Rollback recovery area. She did not want to reset baseline, but had no choice to recover the other 27G.
