As far as I know, you have to activate every time. I believe this is being addressed in v10.

fzzchris, the release just issued last week shows the following as a NEW feature...

"Release activation record during uninstall"

This may eliminate your problem...

Thanks. I just put the new release on and I get a message that I have exceeded the maximum limit of activations. I do a backup of my pc quite often and have to remove rollbackrx to do it. This is a problem that needs to be fixed.

fzzchris, I'm guessing since your current activation is blocked that you still have to manually unblock it by contacting Horizon as you have in the past. This would be a logical function of the new feature for obvious reasons.

Once your are activated again, the new activation function of Rollback should work as intended.

fzzchris,

Are you not aware that you don't have to uninstall RBRx to successfully backup your system partition? Imho uninstalling-reinstalling RBRx everytime you want to backup is a big pita!

Much has been written on this subject starting here and then here.
