This was great reading.
Long ago in the COMODO forums I warned users of the dangers of this program (it became almost a hobby of mine). I also asked COMODO to take the download down until it was safe to use.
COMODO really didn't like me very well and even misinformed users supported COMODO in offering this free software (many of which later regretted those comments).
COMODO ultimately banned me from their forum. They deleted some of my posts (although many are still there).
One of the posts included a representative from COMODO stating that COMODO created CTM and they helped HorizonDataSys with Rollback RX.
There were so many lies from COMODO. Their forums are full of user horror stories (including mine). Users still install CTM.
I think the reason is users typically do not read forums until they need to, then it's too late.

Some of my posts are fun to read also. Search on their site for "Masterblaster".

Carfal, as I remember, I thought you were sort of a CTM supporter. Weren't you?

Yeah, what comes around goes around.
So now they're waiting for windows 8.

Yes i recall having a couple of bouts with you.

I do regret the stance i took with you but thats the beauty of hindsight. It allows one to realizes the error of their ways after the fact.

In my defence though, I actually never wavered from my loyalty to Horizon. I've always used Rollback. At the time i discovered CTM i thought it was great that someone had purchased/licenced the code and was "improving" it and making it available for free. For this reason i thought that Comodo deserved a little respect and even a chance to make it work. Had i known that they were going to butcher it so badly (and possibly obtained the source code in bad faith), i would have given you support instead. For this, I apologize. It's good that we can reminisce on days gone by.

I used CMT for a while. That endeavor sold me on RBRx!

CMT did get one thing better to my liking--the price (but I don't mind paying for something that works and saves me RBRx does).
