Unhappy RollbackRx dissappeared!

Ok so I have used this computer with rollback Rx for over two years, then all of the sudden the program disappeared and and the drive would no longer boot.

The drive appears to be at the baseline level.

Using scavenger I am able to find all my snapshots, but if I mount any when I try to open the virtual drive I get a mesage saying the drive is not formatted do I want to format...

Please tell me there is a way to recover my files!

Can a low-level file scan locate files across all snapshots?

I need help!

Dan, I wish I could tell you that but I can't. One thing you can do is look at the CREATION DATE of the file called "restore.ini" on your Rollback Scavenger disc in the scavenger folder. If it's older than 09Dec2009 it won't work with the current Rollback properly. You need to use the following ISO to create a new Scavenger disc...

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17664826/Rol...0Scavenger.iso

The above ISO won't be around long so if you wanna use it, get it quick!

Scavenger is the only tool able to get access to these files... low level file scans will find nothing useful.

At the moment... that's pretty clear

Thanks for that Froggie, I've grabbed it just in case.

Folks, I will be removing the above mentioned RBRX Scavenger ISO availability on Sunday evening, 09Oct2011... I really need the space back

It would be nice if HDS made this utility available on their web site... and maybe informed us on its status as a possible usable tool for lost snapshot access when necessary. There are a lot of outstanding issues with this version but so far, no forthcoming information.
