Aladdin, thanks for detailing your experience with us in great detail. It's clear that through no fault of your own you were given the incorrect link.

Horizon released their new version but didnt update all of their links to reflect this as was painfully obvious now from your issues with your SSD's. No wonder your mad. Hopefully Horizon will improve/fix the 2 failed points you mention so that no-one else has to endure this scenario.

It seems that your issue with the SSD is now fixed and if you stick with it, I'm certain you'll love Rollback like we all do here.

I did read the post from Froggie who steered you in the right direction (of coarse ). When i read later that you were still having activation issues i suspected that you were still running the wrong version so i suggested to check the version number. I know now that your issue was inherited from the previous Rollback version you had installed. When you did install the latest version your product code was already marked as "Exceeded". Anyway now that everything is reset, uninstalling Rollback should release your code correctly.

Dear Carfal,

Thank you for your kind words. As far as Support is concerned, they still have not acknowledge this. They are still wasting my time, by asking to upload certain files, which I already have. But, still waiting for their acknowledgement.

As far as activation is concerned, they have not reset the activation. On one of the computer I cannot activate it. I am also afraid that if I un-install on the other two computers, I will have the similar problem. I am still waiting for them to reset all the three Product IDs.

Waiting patiently!

Best regards,

aladdin.

Dear Carfal,

Here is some more on activation and the recent release of Rollback Rx.

1. I am now using the current version, but still I cannot activate my computers properly. The two laptops are named, Nexus and ROG and the desktop is named Vibrant. I was sent offline activation for all these computers as they are looking into why the activation doesn't work.

a. I un-installed Rollback on all these three computers, installed Rollback on all three of them and the offline worked on all three of them.

b. Un-installed on ROG, installed again on ROG and tried the online activation, and it worked.

c. Un-installed on Nexus, installed again on Nexus and tried the online activation, and it didn't work. Tried the offline activation, and it didn't work either. So, Nexus is sitting without being activated.

d. On Vibrant haven't tried un-installing yet, as it is downstairs and I hardly use it. The two laptops are enough.

e. All other family members have their own laptops and iPads.

Kind regards,

aladdin.

Just an update, un-installed Rollback Rx on ROG laptop and when I installed Rollback Rx again, and now it show the error "exceeded activation" and it doesn't activate.

This is under the latest release of Rollback Rx.

Best regards,

aladdin.

The billing address on my credit card is USA, but I am in Oman now. So, if you send me an email, I will give you my home and GSM phone numbers in Oman.

lol. My in-laws will be irritated with me now.

The time difference in Oman is +4 GMT.

The weekends in Oman are Thursdays and Fridays, and not Saturdays and Sundays.

Best regards,

aladdin®

P.S. I am pretty sure that you are logging the IP, on this forum, when I open a support ticket and on my purchase of Rollback Rx.

BTW, I cannot call USA toll-free numbers from Oman, toll-free numbers can be called only within USA.

I have now left my home phone number and my GSM (Mobile Cell) number under the already opened support ticket 4073-8337579 dated 10/14/2011 5:23 AM PDT.

These numbers are for Oman, where I am currently residing. The USA toll-free numbers don't work from outside USA, so I can't call USA toll-free numbers from Oman.

If you or the development team wants to call me in Oman, please go ahead and do so. The time difference is +4 GMT. Please don't call my billing address phone number in USA, as I am not there, and it tend to irate my in-laws getting these kind of calls all the time. I love my wife of 36 years dearly and love my in-laws too, but I don't want to be a nuisance to them.

Best regards,

aladdin.
