Hi All, I purchased my RBRx today and have activated it. I didn't buy the Gold support which is renewed annually because I was worried that if I didn't like RBRx and uninstalled it, the annual $13 fee would be difficult to discontinue. I have had an experience in the past where an app had me on an automatic renewal and it was hard to get them to stop. If my concern is unfounded, is there a way to sign up post purchase later on? After I read the Help file instructions I'll give it a try at my first snapshot.

Hi twl845, according to the info here it looks as though the Gold support needs to be bought at the same time as the RB license. But then they go and put a link further down to buy Gold support on its own! Not sure how that works.
RB version updates are not exactly prolific so you probably wouldn't be that worse off by not having it but, if you do want it, I'd be inclined to get in touch with Customer Services as soon as possible to see if you can get it linked with your RB license purchase. You might also ask them what the purpose of the separate purchase option is as well .Graham |

I believe that I have. All the (few) issues I have had have (i) been dealt with swiftly...in terms of what swift means in relation to support for computer software & (ii) where appropriate I have been sent, and successfully used, a 'bespoke' version of RB Rx if the issue encountered has been due to specific circumstances re. my PC.
I am assuming that is as a result of having the Gold Support...and if it is then given the yearly price for this I personally think that it worth it. But I may be imagining things...
