Question Used Space Buildup

Was wondering how and where used space increases significantly
in relatively short period of time with really no major system changes
(updates,installs,etc)performed since last snapshot.
I know when i used sys. restore and took a sys. checkpoint manually,
(took 37 mb initially),would build to near 1 gb in short period of time.
Run snapshot defrag daily. When you look at snapshot history, the size
of last snapshot taken seems to stay the same.
Run Ccleaner frequently. What is creating this buildup of used space
and where is it located(last taken snapshot, current system snapshot)
or both? On a daily basis, use system only for inquiry searches, check E-mail,
use of this forum,etc.
To create free space, will take a snapshot, then delete previous one. Frees between 150 and 200 mb.

Thanks...

Creating a new snapshot and then deleting the previous one releases the areas of the disk that have changed and then changed again in quick succession (typically system status files I imagine).

I have snapshots around a gigabyte a time (I don't take them very often) - I believe these are mostly the build-up of Internet temporary files which go on in the background whenever you are on line. I have plans to move these off the protected partition.

Thanks for response.. Makes sense.

Forum question; I'll initially log into forum either to post new thread or
respond to answers from members. After I have typed new question or
responded to member's reply and click the appropriate post button,I get
a message; You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again.
Happens on first login anytime I use forum when posting or replying.

Need to use copy, paste commands so I don't lose what I wrote.
Then I'll refresh and login again and am good for rest of day.

Any ideas?
Sorry to bother you with this. Probably should address this to administrator..

Worked O.K. Should I use 'post reply' rather than 'quick reply'?
I am really out of it. Don't even know what term 'bookmark' means.
Use I.E 8. By browser are you referring to search bar at top of screen(which I never use),and not google search bar in center?
Hope this reply only goes to you. Probably not.

Edited this post to give you results. hit save and got following message:

logged out and in again. That worked. Will try your second solution or just live with this. I'm sure i'm doing something
wrong.
