Default Need scavenger

I'm a Rollback user and I lost access to the latest snapshot. I think there is a tool called Snapshot Scavenger that allows you to access different snapshots and their files. Where can I download it from? I found a link in this forum, but it does not work.

Thanks, Jacob. I actually submitted a ticket four days ago. Still no answer, so I thought I'd try here. I'll submit another one.

One way or another, please help. This is causing too much pain already.

Hi shavano,

I sent you a PM about this yesterday but you may not have seen it.

Ouch, no luck. When I'm booting from the CD containing BartPE I get the error message: "setupdd.sys could not be loaded error code 4". Any ideas?

It looks like some sort of hardware conflict according to this.

Rather than try to troubleshoot that problem as well, it would be easier to copy the folder from the CD which contains the scavenger program. If you look in the Programs folder you will see a Snapshot Scavenger folder. Copy the whole thing somewhere else. Then you can boot up with an environment which is ok with your hardware and run the program from there.

As a matter of interest, when you say that you lost access to the latest snapshot, are all the other (if any) snapshots ok? Have you got a booting system and you just need to get at some data in a recent snapshot?
