They sent me this

Yes, this problem has been solved in our new build of Rollback. Please download it this link:
RollBack Rx V9 update 0714.

But be careful
I had to totally install the v9 trial I had setup.

When I tried to install this version, the system hung.
I had to manually restart the machine, which gave me a CHKDSK error
and the blue screen of death!

I'm afraid to install it again!
But hear this is a pretty good product, especially running Vista.
I may do some more research....

thanks maxincdotcom,

this update worked well for me and fixed this problem.
I uninstalled the previous version, then installed the new version and the advanced menu no longer appears on restart.

excellent product !!

Default system crashes

Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
On three occasions I tried to install the fix and the system would not boot up, and consistently gave me the blue screen of death.
I had to get into rollback using the home key and delete the installation image, only then did it start up.
I uninstalled Rollback out of fear and frustration, and am sorry it won't work out for me.

Default Solved?

This still seems to be a problem.
I've been using RB with XP for over a year - no problems, and it's saved my skin plenty of times.
Tried to install the trial version on a laptop using Vista home professional 32-bit and I get the system properties window at startup.
