I read somewhere that RollBack can protect only one hard disk. I have two hard disks. WinXP is on the first partition (Primary) of my first HD, and I want to install Win7 on the first partition (Primary) of my second HD. What will happen if I install RollBack in WinXp and then in Win7 ?

Hello Jimi Swann,
Welcome to the Horizon Datasys Forums. I'm copying and pasting info from the Knowledge Base here: "Does RollBack Rx support multiple hard drives? Separate hard drives? RollBack Rx will protect one and only one physical hard drive. This is your "root" drive (Drive 0). You can have multiple drives on your system, but you can only protect Drive 0. However, you can have multiple partitions (e.g. drives C:, D: ,E, F....) on Drive 0. Rollback will protect all partitions that reside on Drive 0. In addition, you may declare any partition (except C:) exempt from Rollback snapshots." If you wish to read further, there is a thread with a similiar question: multiple hard drive questions Best, Jacob |
