I am a longtime 'GoBack' user playing with the Rollback Rx trial download, prior to migrating from XP to a new Windows 7 system.
Is it possible to defrag the snapshots by running an appropriate .bat file from the Windows scheduler? If so, what would be the correct syntax? I tried running Shieldcmd.exe /defrag from within a command window, but nothing seemed to happen. I am trying to avoid the automatic running of snapshot defrag at system boot, since I understand this can slow boot time. I would prefer running the defrag daily, overnight. Thanks for any help, Gene |

Greetings and welcome to the Horizon DataSys forum. You're probably already aware of this but in the meantime, you can manually defrag the snapshots from the advanced options. You can submit your question at http://support.horizondatasys.com and let's see if we can get an answer to your questions here as well. Please let us know here if there are any updates and thanks in advance.
