Default New Rollback RX v9.1 Build 2695045130

A new version of Rollback was released on 6th of March v9.1 Build 2695045130

Does anybody from Horizon care to let us know whats changed?

This seems to be a recurring scenario whereby a new update is released and no announcement is made in the most obvious place......this forum. Along with this announcement some release notes would be nice.

For the umpteenth time, is this really so much to ask for?

Does anybody at Horizon talk to each other?

Even if there are only minor changes we'd still like to know them.

EAZ-FIX also just had an unannounced update. I don't understand why they keep it a secret either. I asked them a while ago why they didn't post new version numbers with dates. They had several excuses. Why everyone except them do it is beyond me. They even have a forum news section!!

Default RollBack Rx new build

There are no significant enhancements or fixes made to RollBack Rx or EAZFIX. The reason for the new build(s):
- Both RollBack Rx and EAZ FIX have now officially removed the Drive Cloner/Drive Image feature out from the public release,.
- Some small bug fixes, spelling changes
- The most significant change would be the uninstall warning sign that was reported a few months ago, when a user claimed that RollBack Rx uninstalled without any warning etc. Below is a screenshot of the additional prompt during the uninstallation: Special thanks to Carfal and others that contributed to this.

Nick10, thankyou so much for the acknowlegement of my input as well as others to the new uninstall warning.

It a clear description of the consequence of uninstalling and a clear description of what state your PC will be in.

Forcing people to type "YES" will reiterate the seriousness of what is about to occur and hopefully will make people read carefully the all important message before proceeding.

Well done.

The only thing is I would've expected the "Continue" button to be greyed out until "YES" was fully typed? Hopefully this is not an issue.

- Good suggestion, I vote for that too. ;0)

Another suggestion would be to add in the message a text like:

"If you want to have your latest snapshot or other snapshot as FINAL STATE, please CANCEL and CONVERT your wished snapshot as BASELINE for the FINAL STATE and come back to uninstall."

Well, something like that.

Nick10, I dont know how this escaped my attention but you guys have spelt the word "shure" incorrectly in the new uninstall warning. Should be "sure" (typo I'm sure )
